ADVANCED COURSE “See, understand, answer”
The project activity of the Erasmus + LETSWIM project was held a four-day seminar Basic Halliwick course: “See, understand, answer” organized by PK Natator.

The course leader was Mrs. Anna Olasinska (Poland), Senior IHA-Rec lecturer and president of the International Halliwick Organization (https://www.halliwick.org) and Mrs. Katja Groleger Sršen, Senior IHA Rec. lecturer and head of the Children’s Rehabilitation Center in Ljubljana. 25 people from Poland, Slovenia, Serbia and Croatia participated in the dissemination activity: lecturers, kinesiologists, kinesitherapists and swimming coaches from swimming clubs from Zagreb, Rijeka and Slavonski Brod (Croatia) and Sombor (Serbia), parents and volunteers from associations of people with disabled and children with special needs and developmental disabilities with whom the participants worked in the water.
The course was held in 32 hours: of which 23.5 hours were lectures and workshops, and 8.5 hours were exercises in the water, including practical work with children with autism and various physical disabilities.
The course covered the following topics:
Halliwick Foundation Course
Assessment of the swimmers – SWIM, WOTA and AST.
Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Communication
Games and activities according to goals based on WOTA
Video analysis and solving problems.
Children with Cerebral Palsy
Group work
During their stay in Orahovica, the participants visited the Kostelac distillery and the small town of Orahovica.
The seminar was co-financed by the Ministry of Labour, Pension System, Family and Social Policy.
